John Caravella, Esq. has been asked to be the guest speaker for the Nassau County Bar Association Construction Law Committee. Mr. Caravella will speak on March 22, 2012 at 12:30 pm in the Founders Room of the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Caravella, who is a construction attorney and formerly practicing project architect, will be addressing the order of contract documents, including the basics of reading plans and specifications. Mr. Caravella represents architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and owners in all phases of contract preparation, litigation, and arbitration. Mr. Caravella has also been appointed as an Arbitrator on the Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals to the American Arbitration Association. Having originally earned his Associate in Construction Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology, Mr. Caravella spent a decade working in architecture. His project responsibilities ranged from commercial and tenant renovations in Manhattan to high end custom residences in the Hamptons with highly respected architectural firms.
