Kimberly A. Steele, Managing Attorney of The Steele Law Firm, P.C., has been chosen to be one of the keynote speakers at the “Money Smart for Small Businesses” program in Syracuse on Saturday, October 5.

Money Smart for Small Businesses is a new, instructor-led training curriculum developed jointly by the FDIC and SBA and hosted by the WISE Women’s Business Center. The multi-level modules in this curriculum provided introductory training for new and aspiring entrepreneurs on the basics of organizing and managing a business.  In addition to grounding participants in the basics, the curriculum served as a foundation for more advanced training and technical assistance.  Modules covered during the program included recordkeeping, time/financial management, risk management, tax planning, credit reporting, banking services available, and succession planning.
